SERBIA

MUSIC VIDEO DIRECTOR | EDITOR

Key Deliverables: Creative treatment, shot list, full production day, and final edited music video.

THE CONCEPT

Rather than a standard performance video, I wanted to build a visual poem. Drawing from the lyrics, the narrative was anchored around a recurring symbolic language: red strings representing entanglement and fate, mirrors evoking distance and internal reflection, and contrasting wings establishing an ethereal plane outside of ordinary reality. Every visual choice was in service of translating the song's emotional world into something you could see.

PRE-PRODUCTION

With a fourteen-day total window, I compressed the full pre-production phase into seven days. I wrote the creative treatment, developed the shot list, scouted and selected the location, sourced props, and assembled the crew.

PRODUCTION

Shoot day began at 10AM with artists getting make up done, while equipment was inventoried and team was briefed on the shot list and the vision. By 11AM we were on location at a nearby park, where I lead the a crew of a videographer, director's assistant, makeup artist, and PAs through a full outdoor shoot in natural light. I directed every setup: controlling the pace, maintaining the visual language, and keeping the performance and the technical side moving together. We wrapped by 6:30PM resulting in a smooth day from start to finish.

POST PRODUCTION

Once wrapped from shooting, the final edit was completed by myself using Premiere Pro. That process took approximately 3 days with the final product sent over to management within the designated timeline. Overall, this resulted in a smooth and successful production from start to completion.
